Players of Red Star after 13 years provided the strongest place in European competition.
LAKTAŠI - BC Red Star qualified for the finals of the regional ABA league. They are in the first semi-final after a big play team defeated Kragujevac Workers score 79:78 and so after 13 years of absence byes in Euroleague. In a dramatic match, full of twists and turns, the winner was the team that finally had more luck. Coach Radonjića in thrilling finale literally ripped out a win, thanks to White's failures Terika from the line, while the other half was fine Vuk Radivojevic. Workers opportunity to bring victory in the latest attack had Steven Markovic, but was not successful. Workers had two minutes before the big seven-point lead (78-71), but the star strong inside play defense stopped rivals and reached the finish uncertain. Most responsible for the great triumph of Stars was phenomenal Rasko Katic who finished the game with 22 points, Savović scored 18 points with 11 rebounds. The team shined Workers Aleksandar Capin, who was the top scorer of the game with 25 points scored. In the other semifinal matchup will meet the host team, the team Igokea and Partizan Belgrade. That match is scheduled from 21 hours. The final was played on Saturday 20. 30h.

Workers continued to terrorize the basket in the second quarter zvedi. Daniel Mijatovic hit two back to back threes and bring Workers double-digit lead (33:21). Basketball Stars did not have a good solution for the combined defense of coach Nikolic. It is completely neutralized and bezidejan an attack red and white. This was followed by Scott's mother points, then new trio Boris Savović advantage for the stars 46:43. Rakočevića points and Katic star comes to the greatest advantage in this match (56:47). It seemed that the red and white slowly take control of the game, but was followed by a series of phenomenal Alexander Capin. Workers point guard scored seven points in a row and so returned to his team in the game. Thanks center line for good mood, Red Star managed to stop uncomfortable rush of Kragujevac. The third section is a complete minimal lead Stars 62:60, so the decision will fall in the last ten minutes.
